What is E3 and why should you have watched it?
E3 is the world’s premier event for computer and video games and related products. During 12-14th of June,
all major game releases was announced at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Some of the biggest stories this year:
Fallout 76 - Bethesda

Fallout 76 will be purely Online, however with players themselves deciding if they want to play in a group or alone. This game is set to be the prequel of previous releases and is set in West Virginia in a sandbox four times the size of Fallout 4's Boston. News of Fallout 76 was teased in the longest twitch stream done by Bethesda so far and also on YouTube before the official E3 Stage Show. During the Show Todd Howard presented the vision Bethesda has for the Fallout franchise's future and game play information on Fallout 76.

Battlefield V is set during World War 2 and follows the same recipe as older battlefield games. This time however, a battle royale component is also added. EA has focused on the sound, feel, color and physical wear in an attempt to provide a genuine experience. EA announced a lootbox and paid exclusive free Battlefield V and received applause from the viewers. In addition to claiming the most immersive battlefield yet,
EA is adding a "Battle Royale but better" playable game type.

Witcher III creators CD Project Red announced the future release of a GTA inspired role-playing first person shooter set in a dystopian California where the player is a customisable mercenary. Some fans say Cyberpunk delivered the best presentation at E3 and received tremendous applause by the audience when showing it's introduction cinematic. Gorgeous graphics in a not so gorgeous California hyped xbox shooter-fanatics.

Todd 'Easter Egg' Howard announced Elder Scrolls VI at E3, but in true Bethesda fashion did not reveal much more then that existing and upcoming teasers will provide enough information to determine content or where it's set. Todd Howard concluded Bethesda's show at the E3 with the announcement or teaser for Elder Scrolls VI and received an applause rivaling Fallout 76. Todd did not present a lot of facts, but summarized this in his comedic way: Watch teasers, trailers and news. Information about the game will be hidden there.

Kojima Productions together with Sony Interactive Entertainment is releasing Death Stranding for the Playstation 4. Death Stranding is an open world action game with multiplayer functions. Kojima compared the genre to how his earlier game Metal Gear - now considered a stealth game. Was called an action game during it's release because the stealth genre was not considered to exist at the time. Viewers applauded vigorously after Hideo Kojima revealed more about Death Stranding. Fan's have waited a long time to get news about content, style and even graphics, and did not leave unsatisfied. Kojima promises a new style of game, and by the looks of it, he and his team will deliver again.

Tons of releases were hyped at this years E3, both for PC, xbox, playstation,
mobile and other handheld devices, some of them were:
Smash Bros - Nintendo
Nintendo opened Pre-Orders for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, the latest in the long line ofSmash Bros that started with the Nintendo 64. Smash Bros is a 2D-brawler type fighting game where the objective is to beat your opponents with a selected champion from a pool of 66 Nintendo characters on a lore-friendly Nintendo Stage. Presenting through Direct Press Conference, Super Smash Bros Ultimate creators showed of the new maps, lineups and mechanics to waiting fans. The new game will bring changes to the competitive scene, and Waluigi supporters had to leave crying after yet another game without the evil second string!

Rage 2 - Bethesda
Following in Cyberpunk 2077's lead, playing Rage 2 will let you dive head first into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. Avalanche Studios and id Software promises to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode anywhere.

Kingdom Hearts III is the 12th installment in the Kingdom Hearts series and is a direct sequel to Kingdom Hearts II (and is the Final chapter in the Dark Seeker saga) produced for the Xbox one and Playstation 4.

The Last of us Part II - Naughty Dog
The followup to the action-adventure survival horror Last of Us is set to be released on the Playstation 4 and will serve as the sequel to 2013's The Last of Us in both timeline, story and character(s).

Xbox One X and Elite Controller - Microsoft
Microsoft has switched it's focus back on gaming and announced the release of Xbox One X, the worlds most powerful console. Running on specs 40% more powerful than any previous launch, Microsoft promises to deliver immersive and true 4K gaming.

The 100-player Battle Royale inspired Fortnite is now released free on the Nintendo E-shop and makes the game available on Xbox one, Playstation 4, PC and the switch.

E3 made it evident that 2018 is a great year to be a gamer across all platforms. This article is just a select few of three full days of reveals from the biggest names in gaming.
